Crow and Flame

Where shadows watch and fire transforms.

Stardust

The crow does not wake each morning wondering if it has earned the right to fly.

It simply opens its wings.

Somewhere along the way, many of us forgot how to do the same.

We learned to measure our worth by what we produce, how much we endure, how useful we are to others, or how perfectly we carry the weight of the world. We collect evidence against ourselves, convinced that love is something to be earned rather than something we were born deserving of.

But the forest has never believed that.

When the first rays of morning spill through the canopy and light dapples across the earth, the trees do not apologize for taking up space. The wildflowers do not compare themselves to the oaks. The river does not question whether it deserves to keep flowing.

Nature simply is.

And so are you.

You are worthy and deserving of love.

Not because you have all the answers.
Not because you’ve never failed.
Not because you’ve held yourself together every day.

You are worthy because you are alive.

You are stardust.

The same elements that forged stars billions of years ago now make up your body. You carry galaxies beneath your skin and constellations in your dreams. The universe is not separate from you—it is within you.

When the sun shines and its light dances through the leaves, you are that quiet magic as the forest yawns awake. You are the hush before birds begin their morning song. You are the warmth that lingers on moss-covered stones. You are the ember that refuses to go out, even after the longest night.

There will be seasons when you forget.

When shame speaks louder than truth.
When grief convinces you that you have become too much or not enough.
When your own reflection feels unfamiliar.

If that day comes, borrow the eyes of the crow.

Watch how it perches on a bare branch without apology.
How it waits without panic.
How it trusts the wind enough to leap.

The crow knows something we often forget.

Worthiness is not something we prove.

It is something we remember.

So today, if your heart is heavy, step outside.

Stand beneath the trees.
Feel the warmth of the sun.
Listen to the birds.

Remember that before anyone told you who you should be…

…you were already enough.

You always have been
